Kanishka is an Associate Partner with Dalberg based in Mumbai. He advises private and public sector partners on strategy, strategy planning and management, market analysis, and monitoring and evaluation.

Kanishka has deep experience in energy access and renewable energy, inclusive business models, agriculture and nutrition. His recent work in the energy sector includes working with development organizations to evaluate the potential impact of new energy solutions and sources and helping develop the 5-year energy strategy for USAID in Southeast Asia. In the agriculture and nutrition space, Kanishka is currently leading a unique project that will look to develop the strategy for a south-south innovation transfer platform for AgTech innovations. He is also leading an engagement with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to determine their strategy for strengthening India’s National Nutrition Mission.

Before Dalberg, Kanishka worked at ideas42, a think tank focused on research and experiments on behavioral economics and international development issues. Kanishka holds a Master’s degree in International Policy and Development from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Conflict Studies from DePauw University, USA.
