Dayoung Lee is an Associate Partner with Dalberg Advisors based in Mumbai, and a co-lead of the Education to Employment Practice. Her other focus areas include early childhood and youth development, gender, health, ICT and monitoring, evaluation & learning (MEL). She enjoys working at the intersection of strategy and human-centered design and is excited about leveraging technology to enhance and scale impact.

Her recent work includes managing the performance of the world’s largest education development impact bond, advising India’s leading education foundation on the country’s EdTech policy, and helping a foundation develop a theory of change for a $100 million Asian Women Impact Fund. She has conducted numerous strategic reviews and evaluations at portfolio and program levels, including an early childhood development portfolio of a foundation and a large-scale public health program.

Prior to joining Dalberg, Dayoung was a consultant with the Parthenon Group (now EY-Parthenon), where she worked primarily in the education sector in the United States and Asia. She holds a joint MPP/MBA degree from Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School, and a BA from Stanford University with Honors in Economics and International Relations. She is the founder of Mentor Me India, a mentoring organisation that connects children from low-income communities with role models.
